About SafelyYou
SafelyYou’s passionate mission is to empower safer, more person-centered care across senior living through world-leading AI, industry-changing hardware, and remote expert clinicians, significantly improving outcomes for residents while increasing peace of mind for families and reducing costs for communities.
Originating in 2015 as the doctoral research of CEO George Netscher—and inspired by his own family's experience with Alzheimer's disease—SafelyYou was spun out of UC Berkeley’s Artificial Intelligence Research Lab, one of the top five AI research groups in the world. And today, our company is solving critical challenges in senior living, from resident falls and ER visits to staffing concerns, length of stay, and NOI. All helping ensure that communities can focus on improved care for residents while still reaching their financial goals.
SafelyYou is one of five most innovative fall technologies referenced in the Senate Falls Report (2019), a winner of the McKnight’s Tech Partner of the Year, and has been named to Fortune’s Impact 20 list, which recognizes companies making people’s lives better through innovation.
Your Role at SafelyYou
We're standing up a new function in Revenue Operations and looking for the right person to own it. Between a signed contract and a live, billing customer, a lot has to go right — operator transitions, decommissions, change orders, implementation handoffs, billing syncs, pilot milestones. This role owns that entire lifecycle. You'll come in, learn how these processes work today, identify where they break down, and build the systems — including AI-powered automation — to run them reliably at scale. You'll sit at the intersection of Sales, Finance, CS, and Implementation, with real cross-functional authority and accountability for outcomes. It's a high-visibility role with a direct line to how accurately and efficiently we convert commercial commitments into revenue.
Key Responsibilities:
Account Transitions & Decommissions: When an operator acquires a property, exits a market, or transfers community management, there's a real process that spans contracting, implementation, customer success, and finance. You own that process end-to-end — intake through resolution — coordinating across teams and serving as the operational lead alongside the account manager. You'll also capture structured data on each event so patterns surface to leadership over time.
Contract-to-Billing: Own the data and reconciliation work that keeps ARR and billing accurate across systems: contract data entry, tracking go-live dates, syncing billing updates, and catching discrepancies before they compound into reporting problems. Attend the weekly revenue meeting as an operational resource who can help resolve issues in real time, not just report on status.
Change Orders & Pilots: Own the intake and tracking of contract amendments and expansions through to resolution. Manage pilot operations — milestone monitoring, flagging stalls, and driving decisions before delays cost billing revenue.
Post-Close Coordination: Own the handoff from signed contract to implementation and customer success. Track what needs to happen after close and make sure it does.
Automation & Process Design: Identify the manual, repetitive coordination work in this function and systematically eliminate it. Design and deploy automated monitoring for open milestones, billing dates, and discrepancies. Build workflows and AI-powered tools that let you operate proactively rather than reactively.
The Ideal Candidate:
Required
3–6 years in an operations role with real ownership — Revenue Operations, CS Operations, Implementation, or Commercial Operations in B2B SaaS or healthcare tech
Demonstrated ability to run complex, cross-functional processes end-to-end and be accountable for outcomes, not just inputs
Salesforce proficiency: you maintain data with discipline and can diagnose what a bad record costs downstream
Experience with project or workflow management tools (Monday.com, Asana, or equivalent) for tracking multi-party, multi-step work
Comfort operating across Sales, Finance, CS, and Implementation simultaneously — moving things forward without a manager brokering every conversation
Experience in senior living, multi-site healthcare, or a comparably complex B2B environment is a meaningful advantage
How You Work
You see broken processes as problems to fix, not facts to work around — your instinct is root cause, not workaround
You're genuinely interested in AI and automation and have used these tools to make your own work faster; you're ready to build with them systematically, not just use them ad hoc
You bring composure to difficult or sensitive situations — including customer-facing conversations in the middle of a stressful transition or decommission
You communicate proactively and clearly across functions, surfacing issues before they become someone else's emergency
You're comfortable with ambiguity and can prioritize across competing demands without needing everything defined upfront
Salary Range: $140,000 - $160,000 USD commensurate with experience
