Your Role at SafelyYou
As VP of Finance at SafelyYou, you will be a key strategic leader responsible for budgeting, forecasting, financial decision support, and operational execution as we scale. You will partner with the CEO and senior leadership to ensure the financial structure supports growth while enabling strategic clarity across the organization. This role combines hands-on modeling and execution with strategic financial insight and business partnership.
This role is ideal for an experienced finance leader who has supported venture-backed startups through high-growth phases, particularly in hardware-as-a-service (HaaS) and AI-driven businesses with a enterprise healthcare GTM. You should have a strong operational mindset, balancing strategic goals, financial discipline, and cross-functional efficiency. A deep understanding of enterprise healthcare sales cycles, payor partnerships and capital-intensive business models is highly desirable

Responsibilities:
Financial Strategy & Decision Support
- Translate company strategy into financial outcomes through modeling, forecasting, and business partnership
- Proactively monitor financial alignment across teams, flagging risks, inconsistencies, and opportunities to improve decision-making
- Partner with functional leaders to scope financial insights that guide pricing, product investment, workforce planning, and GTM decisions
- Support pricing, bundling, and monetization strategy across HaaS product offerings
Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A)
- Lead annual budget planning, mid-year refreshes, and monthly department budget reviews
- Establish structured forecasting processes, including multi-scenario planning, to support informed decision-making
- Act as the financial partner to department heads, providing proactive budget insights and support
- Lead monthly financial cadences to monitor burn, runway, margin health, and revenue progress
Business Model Optimization & GTM Strategy
- Partner with GTM leadership to develop pricing, bundling and monetization strategies for an expanding HaaS product portfolio
- Align financial strategy with contract structures, customer purchasing behaviors and payor subsidization frameworks
- Build financial models to optimize LTV, CAC, and other key financial GTM metrics
Cross-Functional Modeling & Operational Support
- Own cross-functional modeling efforts—developing or coordinating financial models that inform GTM, hardware ops, installer network, and service operations
- Engage early in strategic initiatives to provide financial input on decisions and tradeoffs
- Collaborate with teams to analyze COGS levers, workforce ramp, pricing sensitivity, and other operational drivers
Accounting, Controls & Reporting
- Ensure timely and accurate monthly and quarterly financial reporting for executive and board use
- Partner with Controller to support audits, strengthen internal controls, and improve financial systems
- Maintain data quality and reporting integrity to support leadership decisions
Capital Efficiency & Treasury
- Support investment decisions, cost optimization, and ROI assessments on strategic spend (e.g., R&D, international)
- Help manage working capital, evaluate credit facilities, and optimize use of sitting cash
- Collaborate with leadership on cross-border financial matters and international strategy support
The Ideal Candidate:
Experience & Background
- 10+ years of finance, with 3+ years in a strategic finance leadership role
- Experience in HaaS, AI-driven businesses and enterprise healthcare GTM is strongly preferred
- Demonstrated expertise in guiding financial modeling efforts, budgeting, and business partnership - able to build models when needed and oversee them when resourced
- Background in enterprise healthcare, including payor partnerships and reimbursement models is a plus
- Strategic financial leadership: Strong ability to align financial discipline with ambition company goals
- Scalable financial operations: Ability to build financial systems and processes that scale efficiently
- Operational mindset: Strong at partnering with GTM, product, and operations to drive financial execution

- Willingness to travel, expected approximately once per quarter for key internal and external meetings
